Smokers are used to cook food for a long time but at low temperatures. It gives a delicious taste! If you’re having urges to eat some smoked, but you are missing a smoker. Well, you’re in luck, because we are here to show you how to make one! We will show you to easily make it with only a couple of flower pots, on the next page!
What are the Steps?

Start by drilling some holes to create airflow in the clay planters. To make sure that the pot won’t crack, start by using a smaller drill and then increase the size of the drill gradually. When you’re done with drilling, take some wine corks and shave them down so they’ll fit in the drilled holes, this will let you control the airflow.
You will use one of the pots as a charcoal holder, and in order for the coals to stay together, put a brick at the pot’s soffit, then on top of that brick we have to place a BBQ grate. Since both of the pots will be getting hot, it is essential for the top pot to have a handle, and we can do that by simply drilling a couple of holes and putting a U-bolt in there.

When you’re done with all the cork shaving and pot drilling, you can start using the smoker. However, if you have some BBQ gasket tape, it can be used as a sealant between the bots, even though it isn’t essential.
Then coals are ready to be placed on the grate, which is placed all the way down to the bottom. After that, don’t forget to put the wood chips that need to be soaked. When you’re done, just put the food above and close the top pot.
Just like that, we’re all done! If you are unsure, watch a tutorial video.
